Bytes Digital are looking for a desk-based telecoms and provisioning technician to join our friendly and ever-growing team in Clevedon, near Bristol.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Working Hours: 8:30 – 5:00pm Monday – Friday

Holidays: 25 + Bank Holidays

About the Role

We’re looking for a network and telecoms support technician to join our Clevedon-based team. You will be supporting our customers across the UK with telephone support, being the first point of contact for any technical issues or queries.

The day-to-day job role will include:

  • Providing telephone support to customers
  • Diagnosing and solving telecoms and network problems
  • Configuration and provisioning of network and telecoms equipment, ready for on-site deployment, such as:
  • VoIP telephone system provisioning
  • Number porting & broadband ordering
  • CAT5 cable patching
  • Access point configuration
  • SIM and router configuration and provisioning
  • Mobile phones and tablets
  • Event WiFi solutions
  • Working closely with the technical and operations team
  • Keeping the CRM and support ticketing software up to date
  • Providing our customers with a prompt and friendly service throughout your daily duties
  • Critical and analytical thinking, pragmatic problem solving
  • Offering suggestions to help innovate and evolve our existing solutions and products, as well as offering insight into ways to forward the business

We’re a customer focused team, and as a telecoms and provisioning engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the best possible customer service to our client base, ensuring their communications and connectivity environments are running smoothly and effectively.

What we’re Looking for

The ideal candidate will be experienced with configuration and support of telecoms and networking equipment, including routers, switches, access points, desk-phones and their associated software/firmware.

The right candidate for this role will have:

· At least 2 years of network and/or telecoms experience

· At least 1x qualification pertinent to the job description

· Preferably at least 1 year of connectivity experience (broadband/4G/satellite)

The right candidate will be able to simplify complex problems, process projects into component parts, explore and evaluate them systematically. Have a mindset for problem solving and analytical thinking.

About the Role

We’re looking for a business development manager to join our Clevedon-based team. Are you looking for a career where you are properly trained and invested in? Being part of a established sales team, you'll enjoy using your communications skills to consult with leaders of organisations at all levels. If you are either an experienced sales individual within this or another sector, or an individual who feels that they have all the attributes to be a success in this field, then we would like to hear from you. You'll be happy generating your own leads, alongside company supplied and keen to look after your customers once they come on board. With an achievable target , you'll also have the ability to upsell into your base as it grows.

You'll be working closely within a friendly team and will be given support and excellent technical and sales training on the products sold. These will include VOIP and mobile solutions.

The day-to-day job role will include:

  • Speaking to and building relationships with existing customers and prospects
  • Putting together quotations for existing and potential customers
  • Identifying opportunities while managing existing customer’s accounts
  • Generating new business
  • Working to and meeting targets and KPI’s set by the Sales Manager
  • Offering suggestions to help innovate and evolve our existing solutions and products, as well as offering insight into ways to forward the business

We’re a customer focused team, and as a business development executive, you will be responsible for delivering the best possible customer service to our existing and new client base, ensuring their account is managed and maintaining a high level of customer service.

What we’re Looking for

The ideal candidate would ideally have telecom sales, business development experience, however full training will be given so If you have a real passion to sell and can work well against a target then we would like to hear from you.

The right candidate will have a target driven mindset, with professional and polished communication skills, with the ability to understand and identify new opportunities and add value to customers.
