  • Yealink WF40 WiFi dongle

How to set up WiFi on your Yealink T46:

1. Plug the Yealink WF40 into the rear USB slot on your Yealink T46

2. Access the phones main menu

Access the Yealink's main menu using your soft key. Be aware that your phone may have a different configuration, so the menu button may be in a different location.

3. Navigate to ‘Basic’

Using your phones arrows, select the 'basic' option within the menu (this option is signified by a spanner and screwdriver icon). When it is highlighted, press the OK button.

4. Navigate to ‘Wi-Fi’

Again, using your arrow keys, scroll through the menu until you reach option 7 'Wi-Fi'. Press OK to select it.

5. Choose option 4

Once again using the arrow buttons, scroll to option 4 and select it.

6. Find and select your network

Using the arrow keys, find your network from the list of available networks. When selected, press the OK button.

If you don't see your network in the list, press the 'scan' softkey, which is second from the right.

7. Input your network password

Using the main keypad on your Yealink T46, input your WiFi password.

You can use the second from left softkey to toggle between numbers, lower-case letters, upper-caseletters and ‘2aB’ style. You can also use the delete softkey (third from left) to delete mistyped characters.

8. Press OK

Once you've entered the correct password, press the OK button.

9. Return to the home screen

Exit the menu by pressing the first softkey (shown on screen as 'back'). Pressing it 4 times consecutively will return you to the main home screen.
