How to Setup Your Portable WiFi Minibox

This guide will show you how to setup your Bytes Digital, Portable WiFi Hire Minibox Solution.

1. Start by unpacking the box

We recommend keeping the packaging for later use when returning the box.

2. Next, unlock the padlocks

Enter the combination 7-4-3-6 into both padlocks and unlock the latches.

3. Next, remove the power lead and plug it in

Remove the coiled up power cable and plug it into the power socket in the bottom right of the box.

4. Wait for the box to turn on fully

Once plugged in, you will want to wait 1-2 minutes for everything to power up. Once all is powered up, you should see the light turn blue on the white dish.

5. Use the WiFi SSID and password to connect

You are then ready to connect to the Wi-Fi using the password provided on the instructions sheet. If you have opted for a unique SSID and password, use these to connect.

When you have finished with the box

When you have finished with the hire, follow the below instructions.

1. Unplug the power cable, and coil it up ready to be placed in the centre of the box

Unplug the power cable, and coil it up neatly into a circle. Place it in the bottom centre of the box.

2. Shut the box, put the padlock back ensuring you mix the number combination up

Close the lid, click the latches into place and put the two padlocks back onto the box. Mix the numbers on both padlocks to ensure the box is safe for transit.

3. Place the box in the packaging either of your choice or with the one it arrived to you in and you are good to send it off

Bytes Digital will contact you with information regarding your courier collection. Put the box back into the cardboard packaging it came in and tape it closed. The driver of the courier will label your box up for you before return.
