Campsite WiFi Solution for Country View Holiday Park

Country View Holiday Park is a local, family-run site,offering pitches for caravans and motorhomes, seasonal touring pitches, caravan storage and static caravan holiday homes for sale, only 200 yards from the beach. The site holds almost 300 pitches and spans over approximately 14 acres of flat land.

Brief

Before working with Bytes, Country View only had a basic fibre broadband connection in the main building, primarily covering the bar and games room area. As a result, the internet access across the rest of the park was very limited. This is where the team at Bytes Digital stepped in to provide a more effective solution.

Our engineers carried out a survey at the site to test the pre-plotted access point locations and check Line of Sight between the areas to ensure reliable connectivity links could be installed. Once the planning was complete, installation began and the new network was put in place over the course of around 10 days.

Our Solution

‍High-speed connectivity: A dedicated leased line delivering 1GB download and upload speeds, with a 1GB FTTP broadband backup to maintain connectivity if the main line experiences issues.‍
Site networking: Routers and network switches installed to distribute traffic across the site, powering wireless access points and line of sight devices.‍
Phone system: A new 3CX system with mobile app, allowing staff to make and receive calls on their mobiles whilst displaying the office number.‍
Site-wide Wi-Fi: Wireless access points installed to provide reliable Wi-Fi coverage across all three fields on site.

Summary
