This guide shows you how to create a conference call on your Yealink T46.

This guide will show you how to make a conference call on your Yealink T46 handset with Bytes Digital VoIP phone system. You can add multiple parties into one call, but be aware that your system may have a limit to the number of parties in any one call. Call a member of our team for details about your system.


1. Place the first call

To being a conference, ensure you are on an active call with one of the parties.


2. Press the conference key

Press the conference soft key on your handset. This will bring up a list of your most recent numbers.


3. Select or dial the next number

Using the keypad, dial the number of the person you wish to add to the conference. You can also select a number from your most recent list. Doing this will put the first caller on hold.


4. Wait until the call is connected

Wait until the call has been successfully connected.


5. Press the conference key

Press the conference soft key again, this will create a conference call combining the two people you have called.


Once on the conference call

Once the conference has been completed, there will be a list of the members of the conference displayed on your handset. An icon with different colour speech bubbles with also be displayed.


While the call is ongoing, you have multiple call controls available to you.


Split the conference

Using the split soft key, you can divide the members of the conference into separate calls, breaking apart the conference call. This will put all but one of the conference participants on hold.


Hold the conference

By pressing the hold soft key, you put the entire conference and all its members on hold.


Manage conference participants

Pressing the manage soft key will display a list of all the people in the conference call. From here, you can remove, hold or mute individual members of the conference call using the designated sky keys.


Ending the conference call

To end the conference call, press the end call conference key, or hang up the handset.


Moving the conference to your mobile

You can move the conference to your mobile, using our Office UC mobile app, you can dial *11 ands the call will be pulled from your handset to your mobile. For more, read our guide on mobile hand off.
