How to Forward All Calls on a Yealink Handset

This guide will show you how to forward calls to any number using your Yealink phone and your Bytes Digital VoIP phone system.


Enabling call forwarding


1. Ensure that the phone line is clear

Before you enable call forwarding, you must ensure that your line is clear that that you’re not on an active call.


2. Dial *72 followed by the number to forward calls to

*72 is the short code that tells your phone to forward all incoming calls. Dial *72 followed by the phone number that you wish to have calls forwarded to.


Please be aware that your short code may be different, however the default call forwarding short code is *72. You are able to customise this short code, so please let us know if you would like to have it changed.


Disabling Call Forwarding


1. Dial *73

*73 is the short code for removing a call forward. Once the call forward is removed, you will be able to pick up and dial freely.
